WHITE

Dear Colleagues,

For the beginning of 2022, we’ve chosen WHITE as our actual blog color. White often symbolizes a new beginning or a fresh start. Well, we think this is exactly what we need after those 2 difficult years in our business.

And white is of course the color of snow. Could we take you to winter wonderland for a few moments. Just imaging walking through a white landscape, enjoying the silence and looking at dancing snowflakes. How about returning to a beautiful, cosy mountain lodge where the fireplace is already lit and mulled wine is waiting for you.

Another option might be returning to a luxury mountain resort after a day full of outdoor activities in the snow like skiing, tobogganing, hiking or even building an igloo – relaxing in a beautiful spa and enjoying diner either in the hotel restaurant or a special location like a mountain hut.

Everything is possible - let us introduce you to Germany’s most beautiful destinations in the snow.

Welcome
2022

Winter Wonderland in Berchtesgaden

Located in the “Extreme South” of Germany – Berchtesgaden offers facilities for conferences and product presentations as well as high-quality incentive programmes. The highlight is definitely the Bob Racing Channel – have you ever raced a Bob at 120km/h through the ice channel and felt the pressure of the curves on your own body?

If you are looking after unusual event and dinner locations in a scenic beauty you will be successful in this mountain area “Berchtesgadener Land” just close to the Austrian border. Berchtesgadener Land is one of the most impressive regions in the Bavarian Alps with mountain peaks and crystal-clear lakes like the “Königsee” - combining nature, active holidays, art, culture and history.

Our Resort recommendation is clearly the Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden one of the most special locations in the Bavarian Alps. Built in Bavarian style, this 5 star hotel offers warmth and recreational activities 1000m up in the mountains.

Zugspitze / Highlight Igloo Village

Have you ever thought of sleeping directly in the snow - the Igloo Village Zugspitze at 2,600 m above sea level offers a breathtaking view of the Alps from four countries - natural scenery "at its best" on Germany's highest mountain close to the starry sky!. This unforgettable overnight experience could be combined with different winter activities like building igloos with your group or carving  snow sculptures.

Oberstdorf – Germany’s largest
ski arena – & Highlight “Ski Jump”

The ski arena Oberstdorf / Kleinwalsertal on the border offers seven mountains with boundless skiing pleasure for all ages and abilities on over 130 kilometres of pistes in wintertime. Besides there are so many other activities like winter olympics, hiking or visiting the new “Heini-Klopfer ski jump”, the largest ski jump in Germany and one of the largest ski jumping facilities in the world – one of the venues of the famous tournament "Vierschanzentournee”. Let your guest feel like a ski pilot when standing 70 metres above the ground and feel what comes to a sportsman's mind when he sits up here on the beam. Experience the magnificent view from the "leaning tower of Oberstdorf" into the Stillachtal valley, onto the Freibgersee lake and the Oberstdorf mountains.

Oberstdorf offers a wide range of different hotels: luxury 5 star with all meeting facilities, Boutique hotels, small luxury hotels with excellent spa and leisure facilities and rustic mountain huts with meeting rooms in an romantic isolated location in the middle of the mountains.

Here we recommend the Alpenhotel Oberstdorf – a 4-star superior hotel in the midst of the picturesque landscape of the Allgäu offering 87 rooms & suites as well as 4 modern fully equipped meeting rooms.

Just about 20 km away you could find an interesting hotel combination: the Panoramhotel Oberjoch – a superior 4 star hotel with 114 rooms in combination with the 13 luxurious very special Alpin Chalets with special which are located just next.

Only 250km away from the Belgian & Dutch Boarder

Winterberg is the place with the most snow in North-Rhine Westphalia

Whether you want to go skiing, tobogganing or hiking – and do not want to go to the south
of Germany the “Sauerland region” is just the right location.

Beautiful situated villages in a picturesque landscape invite you to stayand recharge your batteries. Especially for groups, Winterberg is the place to be. With short distances from one place to the next, a good infrastructure for activities, perfect locations for private functions and parties such as “Möppis Hütte” or “Schneewittchenhaus” and the beautiful Bergresort Hochsauerland as unique hotel destination (where you have the choice to stay in one of the hotel rooms or to choose accommodation in one of the smaller chalets).

We recommend to test the unique group-activities at Winterberg by yourself: 60 seconds of thrill in the fastest taxibob in Germany, getting some adrenaline by descending the Astenkick Zipline, skiing down one of the numerous pists, tobogganing and sledding or hiking in the beautiful forests of the region. Unique panoramas of the white mountain world create an unforgettable setting for your event.
